Overview

On a multi-display desk the pointer slips onto the wrong screen constantly. Edgehold adds configurable behaviour at each boundary between displays — resistance, a deliberate second push, a modifier key, or a single crossing point — while leaving pointer movement everywhere else completely normal. Once it is configured you should stop noticing it.

What it does

  • Per-boundary rules

Each edge between two displays is configured on its own, because the boundary you keep crossing by accident is rarely the one you cross on purpose.

  • Deliberate crossings

Choose how much intent a crossing needs — slowing at the edge, a second push, a held modifier key, or a defined gate along the shared edge.

  • Desk profiles

Different setups get different behaviour, so docking and undocking does not mean reconfiguring.

Availability

Edgehold is not yet available. When it is released, this page will link to its official Setapp page.

Pointer behaviour is evaluated entirely on your Mac. Nothing about how you use your displays leaves the device.
